Campo Adentro promotes the production and commercialization of agri-food and artistic products made by our cooperatives and partners. These entities make up valuable local markets of the region and form a system of self-employment and a participatory economy.
The Campo Adentro cheese factory is the newly formed line of production in which we are focusing all our efforts. It transforms the milk of one hundred sheep of the Carranzana breed (whose black-faced variety is in danger of extinction), which make up our flock and with which future shepherds and shepherdesses are trained. In addition, we collect milk from goats and cows, offering a wide variety of artisan cheese production which are formulated and produced with great care and dedication. The local farmers and shepherds are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness while also applying their knowledge of long lines of traditional cheesemaking methods.
